About us

Hi! We are Bart, Kris, Lore, and Ruben. We're a family of five, including our dog, Spike. We lead active lives with full-time jobs, kids' hobbies, and our love for sports. But most importantly, I (Kris) am passionate about traveling. It's not just having a few weeks off; I love being surprised by different cultures and beautiful nature.

I started my Instagram account in September 2019 during a difficult time in my life. I had been very ill. Before my illness, my 9 to 5 job had turned into a 7am to 9pm grind. I worked hard, but the crash came unexpectedly for me and was a clear signal that things needed to change. I had no idea where my life was headed at that point.

On a sunny September evening, I began sorting through pictures of my travels. Reliving those good memories had a positive effect on my health, just like our trips always did. It gave me something to move forward with. I started sharing some pictures on Instagram, and things moved quickly from here. I was inspired by other families who share my passion for travel and photography, and a new addiction was born. The Instagram algorithm picked up my account, and after a few months, I started receiving collaboration requests from tourist boards and accommodations. I didn't even know this was possible! My hobby quickly turned into a side job. I am very curious to see where this path will lead!
